Hamilton Town Meeting is this Saturday. Every body counts – we need you there to support the schools.
Please make every possible effort to be at Town Meeting for Article 2-7, the School Budget
Article 2-7 includes the appropriation for the school district that represents an average 2.5% increase between the two towns — just 1.8% from Hamilton. This is not an override or a debt exclusion.
The Selectmen and Finance and Advisory committee support this budget, and it has already passed at Wenham Town Meeting. But Article 2-7 is expected to be challenged in Hamilton.
We need every school supporter to come and vote Yes on Article 2-7 as it is written. Accept no changes or substitutes.
The Article is expected to be taken up early in the meeting — at approximately 9:30 a.m. Please make an effort to be on time for this important vote.
